How to install the first

Typing commands on your terminal as below
$ sudo pico /etc/apt/sources.list
 
delete all of the contents and you may SELECT REPOSITORY HERE, then copy and paste the repository from which you've removed.

After that do process update package list from the new repository with the following command:
$ sudo apt-get update

After the update package list, then you can just do the install ntop from the repository on the internet with the command as below:
$ sudo apt-get install ntop

Ntop will automatically installed along with the dependecies, so you don't have to worry about not running. When ntop is already installed, you can simply execute ntop and set admin password with the command:
# ntop -u root

NTOP is successfully installed, please open a browser with port 3000. https://localhost:3000
