Spss For Ubuntu Through PPA

If you use Ubuntu (or its derivatives) are old versions, such as Ubuntu at 14. PSPP is provided on the official repository Ubuntu version is the long version. So you can use the latest version of PSPP, you can install it via PPA repository

Open a Terminal in Ubuntu your by pressing the keyboard combination CTRL + ALT + T or open a Terminal via the application menu.

Then add the PPA repository of latest version of PSPP by enter the following command in the Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:adamzammit/pspp

After successfully adding repository, then do the update to update the list of applications from an existing repository. Enter the following command in Terminal to update your system:
sudo apt-get update

Wait until the update process is complete, if it is finished. Furthermore you can install PSPP by entering the following command in Terminal:
sudo apt-get install pspp

Wait for the installation to finish and make sure worked well without any notification error. If the installation is successful, you can open the PSSP through the applications menu and start using it.
